Tequila and the Mexican Caribbean
This is a subject that motivated me to post a new blog! The annual Mayan Riviera Tequila Festival is upon us once again. Those of you who frequent this area in the winter months may not be aware of this fabulous event as it is typically held in May or June. This year, according to my favorite entertainment source Playa Maya News, www.playamayanews.com the event is being held Feb. 27-29th.
They are also introducing a new concept for the tasting and location. It will be held from 4pm to 11pm on Constituyentes near the ferry dock. There are around 10 local restaurants participating to provide tequila parings with delicious food. UNO has hosted many tequila tastings with food so I am particularly interested in this aspect. This does mean that there is a nominal charge for entry but well worth it!
Come out an enjoy Mexico’s most famous tequilas.
